Ibhana signature scarf and tie for the American Lung Association
just came in. For those who were interested in one, please contact Terry Weigel (contact information below). They are indeed beautiful. Do support the American Lung Association in their mission: "Improving life, one breath at a time." The Maryland chapter engages in the fight against lung diseases including asthma, emphysema, and lung cancer through teaching management skills to children with asthma, educating teens about the dangers of tobacco and advocating for cleaner air to prevent lung disease and promote lung health.

Here are highlights from...
---my favorite show, Celebrate the Season at the National Museum of Women in the Arts:

The Bizarre Bazaar:

Our neighbors at Bizarre Bazaar Dick and Les. Les helps his ex-wife with her business and Dick helps his friend Les. They both come every year and sell hundreds of delicious Tennessee T-Cakes. You can check/order them at www.tntcakes.com.
Their booth before Beyond Threads.

Their booth after Beyond Threads...
...little did they realize when they left home, they would be selling T-Cakes and alpaca coats! Ah what would the world be without all these acts of kindness going around? They had too much empty white space on their walls!!
Ibhana's stage set up at the French International School...

Our all-in-one handy-man-on-call, intern Neal Malkani, Freshman at Walt Whitman High School!
Thank you Neal, we couldn't have done the season in one piece without your invaluable support.
You have become Ibhana's strong arm!

French International School models Lea and Carla!
Ibhana's Booth (No. 15) at the Downtown DC Holiday Market (on a wet, cold and rainy day!) will be open till December 22nd:

Finally, warmest wishes from the Ibhana team for a happy holiday season. We hope you continue to get many compliments every time you walk out of the door wearing an Ibhana purchase! And thank you for your emails about how much you enjoy wearing something purchased at Ibhana. My greatest reward from all this grueling hard work behind the glamor!

My best,
